The Toro Company recognized as a lead sponsor of the 2020 Irrigation E3 program

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (Dec. 5, 2019) — The Irrigation Association is excited to announce that The Toro Company will be a lead sponsor of the 2020 Irrigation E3 program. Through this sponsorship, E3 winners will receive education and travel awards to attend the 2020 Irrigation Show and Education Week in San Antonio, Texas.

The E3 program provides students and faculty with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry by giving them the chance to take education classes, network with industry professionals and discover all that the irrigation industry has to offer on the trade show floor of the annual Irrigation Show. Since the program’s inception, The Toro Company has been a huge part of the program’s success. When it began in 2012, there were six winners, and in 2019 the program grew to 34 participants.

“The E3 program awards the brightest students and faculty who are interested in irrigation,” said Workforce Development Director Janine Sparrowgrove. “We are thankful that The Toro Company and other sponsors continue their support to build enthusiasm in the industry ans ensure the success of the IA’s efforts to promote careers in irrigation.”

The Toro Company will present the Irrigation Association with a $20,000 check for the 2020 E3 program later today on the Irrigation Show exhibition hall floor in Las Vegas, where the 2019 E3 program winners are currently attending the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Week. Thirty-two students and two educators from colleges and universities around the country were selected as winners of this year’s program.
