2020 Washington, D.C., Fly-in

March 3-4, 2020
Be the voice of the irrigation industry on Capitol Hill.

Irrigation contributes to a safe and reliable food supply, keeps U.S. agriculture globally competitive and helps maintain healthy, sustainable green spaces in communities across the nation. It’s up to us to make sure Congress recognizes the value of our industry by enacting legislation and policies that promote efficient irrigation and good water management practices.

In-person meetings with lawmakers continue to be one of the most effective advocacy strategies. By participating in the Irrigation Association’s fly-in, you will gain new insights on important issues affecting irrigation and be able to share your experience directly with your representatives and their senior staff.

The Washington, D.C., fly-in offers members a unique opportunity to

  • experience Capitol Hill and meet with your congressional offices.
  • interact with senior congressional staff and discuss water-focused policies.
  • be a leader and spokesperson for the irrigation industry.
  • come away with advocacy strategies to use once you’re back home.
