Irrigation Association Responds to 2024 Election

Following the results of the 2024 general election, the Irrigation Association looks forward to continuing its work in advancing the priorities of the irrigation industry. The association remains dedicated to collaborating with elected officials at all levels to support innovation and promote the vitality of the irrigation sector.

“As the CEO of the Irrigation Association, I am proud to reaffirm our commitment to advancing the priorities of the irrigation industry,” says IA CEO Natasha Rankin. “We will continue to collaborate with elected officials at the federal, state and local levels. Our engagement with decision-makers is focused on promoting the wise use of water and highlighting the positive impact of irrigation on society. We are dedicated to ensuring a professional and dependable workforce and supporting the growth and success of irrigation businesses.”

In the coming weeks and months, the Irrigation Association will provide additional insights and updates to our members, partners and stakeholders. During its recent Nov. 6 meeting, the IA Board of Directors affirmed our policy principles and priorities for the association. As results across the country are finalized in the coming days, we will continue to monitor developments and share pertinent information to help guide our industry’s strategic engagement.
