2019 Washington, D.C., Fly-in

You are the voice of irrigation!

March 5-6 is your chance to take this voice to Capitol Hill to carry irrigation’s message to Congress.

Irrigation contributes to a safe and reliable food supply, it keeps U.S. agriculture globally competitive, and it helps ensure our nation’s landscapes remain green, healthy and sustainable. It’s time Congress understood this and recognized this value through sound legislation and policies that are pro-irrigation, pro-water, pro-irrigated agriculture and pro-irrigated landscapes.

The Irrigation Association is proud and excited to once again join our Washington, D.C., fly-in with the National Ground Water Association and the Water Quality Association for the 2019 Water Resources Congressional Summit. During these two days, you will

  • experience Capitol Hill and the legislative process up close and personal.
  • take part in lively discussions with senior congressional staff regarding the new Congress and what it means for water-focused legislation.
  • meet with your congressional offices.
  • have a unique opportunity to be a true leader and spokesperson for the irrigation industry.

The fly-in is open to employees of IA-member companies only. The cost is $200 to attend; however, if you become an advocate member of the IA, the registration fee is only $100. (There is no cost to become an advocate member. You must complete and return the advocate membership application in order to take advantage of this discount.)
