+IA University education sessions
IA University education sessions are intended to provide deeper, skills-based education that helps attendees improve professional practice and apply what they learn immediately in the field or in their work. These sessions should be designed as substantive learning experiences, not short overviews or product spotlights.
Strong proposals will present clear learning objectives, identify the intended audience and show how the session will be structured to keep participants engaged. We are looking for practical, well-organized instruction on topics such as irrigation technology, system design, water management, controls, troubleshooting, maintenance, inspection, reuse and other technical or applied subjects relevant to the industry.
- Session length: 2 hours (minimum), 4 hours, 8 hours, or 8+ hours (2 days)
- Audience expectation: in-depth education with meaningful takeaways
- Instructor benefits: IA University instructors will receive applicable education-related instructor benefits.

We are looking for proposals that provide practical insight and useful takeaways for manufacturers, distributors, dealers, contractors, consultants and other irrigation professionals. Presentations should be timely, relevant to current industry conditions and clearly focused on the needs of the irrigation industry.
- Session length: 25 minutes
- Attendee access: included in the standard conference registration
- Submissions should be educational and informative rather than promotional.
- Presenters will be responsible for paying all costs related to registration, travel, and attendance for the Irrigation Show and Education Week
+Industry Insights: Emerging Technology & Research
This session type is intended for concise presentations on emerging science, technology, applied research and innovation relevant to the irrigation industry. Topics may include AI-driven irrigation scheduling, automation, sensors, remote sensing, flow measurement, cloud and IoT applications, variable rate irrigation, fertigation, reclaimed water, new product capabilities, usability and other developing technologies or research areas.
Academic and research-based proposals are welcome, but they should be tailored to an irrigation industry audience and explain why the work matters in practice. Strong submissions will clearly describe what is new, what evidence exists so far, why it matters and whether the concept is ready for pilot use, early adoption or further validation.
- Session length: 25 minutes
- Attendee access: included in the standard conference registration
- Submissions should emphasize evidence-based insights and practical relevance, not product promotion.
- Optional abstract for conference proceedings : Presenters in this track may optionally submit a short abstract for inclusion in conference proceedings or related conference records after acceptance. An abstract is not required to present and submitting one will not restrict later publication of the underlying work. If your proposal is accepted and you would like to be included in the proceedings, the IA will follow up with instructions.
- Presenters will be responsible for paying all costs related to registration, travel, and attendance for the Irrigation Show and Education Week.
