Irrigation Association issues Call for Proposals

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (June 21, 2023) — The Irrigation Association has opened a Call for Proposals to gather ideas and potential presenters for future industry presentations. Submissions will be considered for live and online presentations as the IA develops a plan to provide valuable and accessible content and educational opportunities throughout the next year.

Presentations submitted through this call may be selected for the Industry Insights program to be presented live at the 2023 Irrigation Show and Education Week in San Antonio (Nov. 27-Dec. 1). Submissions will also be considered for future IA education webinars, industry partner presentations, editorial content and other offerings.

“Industry Insights and IA education and training provide an excellent opportunity for irrigation professionals to gain valuable recognition as thought-leaders and innovators in irrigation practices and unique issues that face the irrigation and green industry,” said IA Chief Executive Officer Natasha Rankin, MBA, CAE. “By sharing their knowledge, expertise and in-the-field experience as content or subject-matter experts, these professionals can elevate and expand their career and professional network, while helping advance the development and training of others in the industry, demonstrating the value of irrigated agriculture and landscapes.”

Single presenters or panels of individuals are invited to submit proposals for presentations showcasing their expertise on topics that impact the irrigation industry and today’s irrigation businesses, including discussions about the latest industry trends, business growth and practices, advocacy issues, technology, research, sustainability and more. The IA is seeking proposals for presentations in varying lengths from 20 to 90 minutes.

The deadline to submit a presentation proposal is July 14, and the submission form is available online. For more information or to submit a proposal, go to irrigation.org/CFP.
